SMARTSHEET’S NEW DOCUSIGN INTEGRATION


We are excited to announce details of the Smartsheet <> DocuSign Integration!! DocuSign is the leading platform for e-signatures and is now available for both Smartsheet Enterprise and Premier plan customers! Streamline document workflows right from Smartsheet!! Preparing and signing custom documents across disconnected platforms can be extremely time-consuming and not very cost-effective. With Smartsheet’s DocuSign integration, you can create, send documents, and track signing statuses all from Smartsheet!

  • In turn, this saves you time, and reduces costs and errors, ultimately moving your business forward and upward


HOW DOES THIS ALL WORK? CREATING THE DOCUMENT

  1. Combines two inputs – an existing DocuSign template and the data in your sheet 

  2. After selecting one of the templates, you'll map it to the fields in your sheet to assign signing roles and customize content 


4 SIMPLE STEPS FOR MAPPING

  1. Select the rows

  2. Open document builder 

  3. Click the "Generate" button next to your mapping 

  4. Choose "Send with DocuSign"

You may wonder, how does DocuSign receive the document?

DOCUMENT BUILDER X DOCUSIGN


  1. Document builder creates a custom envelope for each row and hands it off to DocuSign to be sent out for signatures 

  2. Once the document has been signed, a copy will be attached to the specific row in your sheet for quick access
